We produced an emotional tour-de-force of a brand for high-performance vehicle retailer ‘The Leven Car Company.’ Looking well beyond cars as our inspiration, we focussed on the ‘memorable service’ provided by the company to create a hugely successful series of projects that would help the organisation position themselves beautifully in the marketplace, win the hearts and minds of a long list of stakeholders and set the tone for the exceptional service they intended to deliver.

In contrast to our competitors, we focussed on the exceptional service that would be provided by The Leven Car Company, resisting the obviously temptation to delve into more automotive themes.

The storytelling brand was based on the idea of ’a strong reputation in the community.’ This was expressed with this ‘Chinese Whispers’-inspired identity.


After the initial brand was launched, we created a range of print/digital communications over several years to help get the various messages across.

The brand was a great success helping the business get a more premium position across and winning the hearts and minds of a long list of people including – employees, customers, suppliers, the management team and quite significantly, the automotive OEMs of the cars The Leven Car Company would represent – Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, McLaren, Lotus, etc.
