Glasgow City Marketing Bureau was celebrating a ‘decade of success’ and asked the loft to design an info-graphic which would bring some of the very impressive statistics of their achievements to life.

We were asked to create a high-impact visual to give their team a reference to use in presentations with prospective clients. The final info-graphic would be published in both the local and national newspapers.


Statistics like ‘£1.2 Billion – the value of business tourism secured,’ ‘504 new conferences,’ and ‘being named the UK’s best Convention Bureau 9 years in a row,’ etc were all highlighted in the bold visual. Each of these graphical headlines formed an iconic skyline which would include many of Glasgow’s landmarks. The famous ‘Rubine Red’ of the city was used as a backdrop colour to tie in the ‘People Make Glasgow’ brand.


The final info-graphic was featured by the press during the week-long celebrations and there have been several variations since. It was well received by everybody both inside and outside The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.
