Scottish Leather Group (SLG) are one of Europe’s largest leather producers. Over the past 20 years, they have been one of the first industrial companies to put ‘sustainability’ at the heart of their organisation. They’ve introduced significant changes to manufacturing processes, investment decisions and even staff relations. In doing so, they’ve achieved exceptional results, both in terms of numbers and also in terms of the wider cultural impact. They were looking for a better way to communicate this and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to help.
The sustainability campaign included print documents such as the annual report, social media communications, slide decks, etc. Infographics and mixed media which really brought SLG‘s impressive sustainability achievements to life.
The infographics were re-formatted into videos and produced as a series of mini social-media campaigns.

The loft also worked on a wide range of additional projects for other SLG brands. This included this ‘Entomology’ Trends Presentation for ‘Bridge Of Weir Leather’ and these high-impact print adverts for Muirhead Leather, which showcased many of the different features of the leather and its impressive performance in the aviation sector.
“Production of our Annual Sustainability Report used to be one of the most stressful jobs in the marketing calendar due to its complexity and tight deadline. This year it was stress free, thanks to everybody involved including the loft. It is a marked improvement on earlier versions and the introduction of infographics has transformed this publication.”
