Glasgow City Marketing Bureau was celebrating a ‘decade of success’ and asked the loft to design an infographic to bring some of their very impressive statistics to life.

We were asked to create a high-impact visual to give their team a reference to use in presentations with prospective clients. The final infographic would be published in both the local and national newspapers.


Numbers like ‘£1.2 Billion – the value of business tourism secured,’ ‘504 new conferences secured to Glasgow,’ and ‘named the UK’s best Convention Bureau 9 years in a row,’ were highlighted in the bold visual, which was formed of a skyline including many of the iconic landmarks of the city. The famous ‘Rubine Red’ was used as a backdrop colour to tie in the ‘People Make Glasgow’ brand.


The final visual was featured by the press during the week-long celebrations and there have been several variations since. It was well received by everybody both inside and outside The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.
