In 2015, we were delighted to be given the opportunity to work with our home city — Glasgow. The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau was celebrating a decade of incredible success since its opening in 2005.

The brief was to simply design an infographic with impact. One which would bring some very impressive statistics to life, and also provide their team with a visual element that would be used in presentations to their clients and also with the local and national press.


Statistics such as ‘£1.2 billion value of business tourism secured by the city since 2005′, being named the ‘UK’s best convention bureau nine years in a row’ and ‘3323 conferences secured in 10 years’ were just some of the many impressive numbers communicated with a series of clean, but effective pictograms overlooking a Glasgow skyline complete with many of the city’s iconic destinations. We used ‘Rubine Red’ to tie in the city’s new ‘People Make Glasgow’ brand.


The final infographic was featured in the Glasgow Press during the week-long celebrations, and it has spawned several further variations since. It has been very well received by everybody both inside and outside The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.
