BRIEF

Altia is a leading provider of software for investigators – their products save time, increase productivity and improve accuracy. The company is the chief sponsor and co-founder of SOCEX (The Serious and Organised Crime Exchange,) a forum for the most influential people in law-enforcement to share ideas. Altia wanted something that would help to burn their name into the minds of delegates at the conference.

SOLUTION

The loft created a bespoke newspaper, ‘The Altia Times.’ The paper features everything you would expect from a broadsheet – sector specific news, interviews with the influential delegates at the conference, bespoke adverts, a weather report for the venue, a police-themed crossword and a well-written editorial.

We wanted the paper to be as real as possible, so included the type of comic-strip illustration you would expect in any newspaper, this time with a law-enforcement theme. ‘Keep stretching, they are almost at breaking point’ was one key drawing highlighting the challenges faced across the police at that time due to funding cuts.

RESULT

‘The Altia Times’ was read and enjoyed by all the delegates. Further versions of the newspaper have been created since and more are being planned.
